Attack at February 2005 HOA Meeting

Will attacks be the norm at HOA meetings?

Fortunately, the attack at the Feb 8, 2005 meeting was only verbal, not physical, as was the HOA Treasurer’s assault on fellow members, committed at last November’s meeting.

Last night’s verbal attack; delivered by PSJ’s leading “wag-ette”, had nothing to do with HOA business whatsoever.  The attack was a rambling, emotional rant about some information posted on  Nov. 4, 2004 PSJHOA meeting    that didn’t sit well with her. Few had any idea what she was sputtering about.

Regardless of how important she feels she is, the floor of a PSJHOA monthly general meeting is not a proper forum for a disgruntled resident to air her dirty laundry.

The presiding officer failed to control the meeting when he allowed petty personal issues to be brought to the floor. Another reason why the HOA has such a poor reputation in our community.
